I was raised in the Vermont boondocks and spent my childhood running around the woods in various combinations of prairie dresses, explorer gear, and gypsy clothing. My love of sewing and crafts started early and was fueled by my parents and grandparents, who taught me sewing, crochet, embroidery, carpentry, spinning, and weaving. In 2009, I graduated from Emerson College with a BFA in Costume Design/Technology and since then I've worked on a wide variety of costume projects, including wardrobe management for theater and film; cutter/draper; design for dance, theater, film, and web series, and a variety of custom work. I am equally as comfortable overseeing a wardrobe crew as I am designing a full-scale production, and I approach all projects and challenges with optimism, competence, and unflappable calm. I operate under the belief that good communication, terrible puns, and hard work are vital for making the production process smooth, and I take pride in doing my best work and maintaining positive working relationships no matter what job I'm doing.
